♦ Newport 27'
The Marianda, our favorite Bay cruiser. Join her in your trips to Redfish, the Cut, Double Bayou, Eagle Point - Anchor out for a great swim, dock for a fantastic dinner. Ease out her genoa, and hoist her main, she will sail under you for a heeling great time. We love to sail her on close hauls, watch your socks as the self bailing cockpits will surprise you. We have great memories on the Marianda and we invite you to start your memories as well.
♦ MacGregor 22'
Welcome to the Miss Lilly, our favorite Lake sailboat. We have loved her since 2003, a favorite of all the folks who charter her for a peaceful day on the lake. The Miss Lilly is the 22' MacGregor with a retractable keel. So run aground in shallow water, crank her up. We enjoy this lovely lady in the Bay as well. She is the local lady, we keep her close to home but she is fit to be tried in the waves of Galveston. Come see our MacGregor with outboard ready to start.
♦ Sunfish Sailing Certificate
The Sunfish, a 13-foot 10-inch boat that can accommodate up to three people, is perhaps the most popular boat ever produced. Become one of the many people who have learned to sail and enjoy the water on the Sunfish. This boat is perfect for exploring quiet coves, cross-lake excursions, big ocean swells or regattas that take place from one end of this country to the other. For more than 40 years, there has been no more popular way to race or relax on the water.
♦ Windsurfing Sailing Certificate
Join the few who have accelerated to the board. Learn with the Captains of All Points. From the large boards with small sails to the small boards with large sails, from sailing Clear Lake to the Texas City Dyke, be ready for the experience of your lifetime. Enjoy the winds, hang on the boards, enjoy the other members and students as they move forward towards the wind.
♦ Paceship 26'
Hold on for the 200 Genoa and heeling, controlling the weather helm with the tiller. This is a great bay sailboat. Beamy, roomy, a great cockpit and a main to go with the genoa. Included is an optional jib as well. fill up the gas, take an extra tank and take the 26 to Galveston. She handles great in light winds as well as 15 knoters. If we had our way we would take her out on dates daily.
♦ Beneteau 33', Aunt Soni
Welcome to the Aunt Soni, our favorite cruising lady. She loves the rough waters of the Gulf, the 6 foot every 6 seconds thrill of riding the waves and wind. She handles the Gulf great, sails to perfection and we love taking her to Freeport, PA and of Course Galveston. As to the Bay, just give her a try. In winds over 10 and especially to 15 she handles like a perfect lady. The roller furling foresail and roller furling main, along with air and a great salon, she sleeps 6 comfortably.
♦ Hunter 34'
Our favoriate Combo and Gulf sailing vessel, she is a smooth riding, smooth sailing and friendly lady who provides her crew and helm fantastic sailing adventures. Try out the auto helm, adjust the gps, set the tricorder to your area and have a great day or weekend. Jump on and hang on, the heeling has just begun.
♦ Kayaking and Canoes
Join with the students and Captains for the 8 hour kayaking certification class. Learn the fundamentals of kayaking, the basic strokes, safety, charting, knots and wet reentry. The four classes takes the students to various float plans in the Clear Lake and Galveston Bay Area. Now the 21st year of instruction, join the members in their weekly rows and quarterly camping trips.
Captained and Bareboat
Take a break and dine at one of the many restaurants who cater to boaters. Feel free to tour the area from the Houston Ship Channel to the Gulf of Mexico and all harbors in between.
The Clear Lake Area is an ideal environment for the tours and charters. Sail or motor past Historic Seabrook and the Kemah Boardwalk. Be smiling, you will most certainly be in a picture taken from shore. We are in many scrap books and plan on being in many more. Take a break and discover the area and the advantages of corporate meetings in the environment that Lakeside offers. Cruising the area or hitting the books, Lakeside offers an alternative to other avenues of fun in the sun.
Anchor out, spend an hour or a weekend, swim and play. Come see why the Clear Lake area is the most fantastic sporting venue in the area. Remember, the clocks stop at the pier, your time is your own and your time will be unforgettable.
